My name is Marie and I really like listening and dancing to music, and writing about it. At the moment, I’m in Berlin, Germany. I moved here from Vancouver, BC, Canada.
Since I was 12, I’ve been fascinated with the Internet and the opportunities that lie in cyberspace. I started two websites at the same age and both surprisingly won awards. Those sites were forgotten as I got older and I started to focus most of my energy on other things.
Almost two years ago, I felt like there was a void in my life. I would go on extremely long walks with no destination while listening to a ridiculous amount of remixes. I did a lot of thinking during these walks and I felt like the remixes I was listening to kept the wheels turning in my brain. Then, I got the idea of remixing my life; not really change who I am but remix myself in a way, focus on different parts of my life. Soon after this, I decided to start a blog focusing on music that made me feel something.
So hopefully, you enjoy this blog as much as I do!

Hi Marie. I saw you were a ‘helper’ on Soundcloud and sent you a track. I think you heard it and started following… thanks. I had a brief look at your interesting blog… just the most recent entries and your ‘about’ statement. I have a lot of academic writing to do for few months… not much headspace; so I hope to return to your blog later. Like the photos, and I agree about that moody, fuzzy crowd shot.
